Customizing site

  Hi when i log into my site i go to visit site then i click customize and then my front page of my site would load up with pencil edit images around my banners my side banners, my widgets etc so that when i would click them it would be easy to edit them and change my banners etc. Now when i go into customize those edit pencils images are now gone and i cant edit my site. Where did those pencils go?

  Hi there,

  May you please share the URL of the site you are trying to edit. I always get those pencils you mention when I load the customizer.

  Another way to edit those widgets and banners in the customizer is to go straight to the section you want to edit, e.g, the header image, widgets >sidebar, widgets>footer, Site Identity, etc.
  

  When you say you can’t edit your site, do you mean you are not getting these options in the customizer as well?

  The side bar of the picture you posted i can see but the blue pencils are gone. I figured it out though. One of the plug ins that were installed was causing the problem. I just disabled it and now the blue pencils have come back
