Customizing Site and Theme

    Since starting this website I was very happy with the interface of wordpress and customizing my site, but since the previous updates where everything has changed, including the removal of several options, I have just had problem after problem.

    My site is about my partner and I’s journey around the world, all we would like to be able to do is create galleries either in seperate posts or directly into posts, this does not work with either the update or our theme, as well customising the sidebar and footer with ease, which as of late is near impossible.

    I am very infuriated since i have used wordpress for years and it used to be very easy to use but this new update has really brought my progress to a standstill, all information, tutorials and tips I’ve found relate to previous updates and are now out of date, please can you help me!
