Customizing the Blog Page

  I am using the Visual theme (customized), which I love especially for the way the Blog page displays posts in three columns leading with feature images. The look of the page is so image-focused, but unfortunately on my website the “Blog” page displays all of the full lengths of the entire post texts, not just the excerpts, so each post with long article-length text takes up a LOT of space with text. How can I make the page restrict post-displays to just the feature image and the excerpt, so that it is heavy on the images and lighter on the text? Thanks in advance.

  Have you tried to adjust the amount of text displayed using the “More” tag:
