  Hi,

  I am trying to add a sidebar (content area) where i can add widgets to. But i am using a theme (THE BASKERVILLE THEME). I read up i can edit the functions.php to add additional ones should you wish.my it being a wp.com and it not being hosted on your own server or FTP site.

  Is it possible to access / add additional content areas?

  I’m sorry but the underlying files cannot be edited here at wordpress.com so this theme cannot be changed in the way you wish.
