Customizing the Portfoli functionality on Illustratr Theme

Hi
I wonder if someone can help me. I have now become familiar with the Portfolio functionality on the Illustratr Theme. My home page uses the Portfolio Page Template and I have secondary page where I want to embed the [portfolio] using the custom attributes provided on the Illustratr support pages.
However, I would like to make two customizations and wonder whether this is possible?
1.) On the home page (with the Portfolio Page Template set), is there any way that I can have more than 3 columns? (I know how to increase the number of projects viewed, but would like 5 columns not 3).
2.) On the pages that I embed the [portfolio], is there any way that I can have new projects appear on top of the list? (At the moment new projects are added to the bottom.)

On responsive width themes, changing the number of columns is not something that can be done cleanly and with Illustratr, the images are positioned from within the Jetpack code and theme files, not in the CSS.
2.) On the pages that I embed the [portfolio], is there any way that I can have new projects appear on top of the list? (At the moment new projects are added to the bottom.)
This has been reported to the developers and I will report back here when the issue has been resolved. I have no idea on the timeframe, but I think it will happen reasonably quickly. There will be an additional attribute for the portfolio shortcode you can add to control the sort order (newest to oldest or oldest to newest).

Hi Archer, I know it’s been a while, but I wanted to let you know that it’s now possible to order portfolio projects in several different ways using the shortcode. You can learn about the new attributes (order, orderby) on the portfolio shortcode page. Just let me know if you have any questions or need any help with it!
