Customizing Theme: Publication

    Hello,

    I really like the look of Theme: Publication. However, after setting up the Home page and posting one blog I can’t seem to find how to get the excerpt of the blog to appear in the white space below the featured image the way it looks in the demo site… I would like the opening page to be a static page with excepts of my blogs showing underneath just the way it shows in the demo. I also cannot seem find how to create categories that will display in the slide out menu the way it does in the demo as well… hope someone can help. thanks! – Ron

    The Publication demo site doesn’t have a static front page, it lists all the posts in order but makes the top one stand out by formatting it a bit differently.

    If you have made posts and assigned them to certain categories you should be able to set up a custom menu to include those links.

    thanks halluke, in the end Publication didn’t quite do what i needed so i changed themes. Thanks for taking the time to answer :)
