Customizing Visual Theme
-
I read the post on this subject but it is closed for replies. I deleted what I had on my Home page and then created a new post. However, contrary to the advice given, it does not appear on my home page. Is there another setting I should apply?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Looks like your front page is set to a static page, not posts page. You can change this from your Dashboard → Settings → Reading and set Front page displays to Your latest posts.
Please give it a try and let me know if this is not what you want.

Thanks for your response. I checked and it is set to Your Latest Posts. Because I have made so many revisions to try sort this out, I think I must delete all pages and start over from scratch. Maybe you could suggest what Theme to use that displays 3 columns? I would like to have the book cover, an excerpt from the book and the author’s image next to each other on the front page.

Here are some three columns themes in the WordPress.com Theme Directory: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/three-columns/
Please check which one would you like.
