Customizing widgets to make MH Purity theme look like demo

  Hey, this is in regards to http://www.teachingexperiment.com.

  I tried following MH’s documentation to make MH Purity (full version) look like the demo (http://www.mhthemes.com/support/documentation-mh-purity/). I followed it step by step and made a static front page (Home). However, none of the widgets I’ve added to Home 1/2/3 etc. are showing up on my front page. What am I doing wrong?
