custum header(putting text over images)

  I’m interested in writing my title on my header image. Can this be done on wordpress? Or do I have edit the picture using photoshop or some other program? Thanks!

  It can be done if you use a theme that displays taglines. Otherwise you’ll have to do it in a graphics program and use the header on a theme that allows customizable headers.

  I should have said: MOST themes already display the blog name on the header. I can’t think of one offhand that does not.
