Cut the posts

  Hi, how can I set up my posts to be shown only in a limited number of words on homepage? I found some way in the menu but it does not work after saving the changes.
  Thank you.

  Hi, you can try going to Settings > Reading, then select “Summary” for the choice on “For each article in a feed, show:”

  Hi, thank you for a super fast response. Yes, that is exactly what I´ve been trying to do several times but after confirming the changes, nothing happens and the blog shows full articles on my homepage. :-( Don´t know what´s wrong.

  Ok, maybe there’s another issue. How about try: Settings > General > Front Page Displays > Latest Posts.

  Have you tried the More Tag?

  auxclass – thank you so much, that is perfect! I´ve been using wordpress.com just for a couple of days so didn´t even know about the More Tag thing. Thanks a lot.

  Please read this carefully because this is a common question on these forums:

  “For each article in a feed, show: … Summary”

  That setting applies only to the feed for a blog.
