  Good morning. I wanted to know how I can add a custom header on to my theme

  That depends on your theme:

  Also depends on where your site is hosted since you didn’t post a URL.

  Good morning. I have using the twenty eleven theme and on the top there picture that change ever so often. I wanted to know if there is a way to upload my own gif to be displayed in the header???

  It’s not an animated .gif is it?

  Is it the right dimensions?

  Have you tried to upload it to your Media Library first and then select it from there?

  Yes it is animated
