Cutting and pasting tables of data into a word press blog.

I want to cut and paste a table from pages (apples word processor) or numbers (apple’s spreadsheet) into my word press blog. I no longer have word or excel. The tables don’t appear to fit and don’t look good. What should I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

If the use of copy and paste does not produce the result you’re looking for (and we do always suggest that you use the “Paste from Word” box, even if you’re not technically pasting from Word, but rather any word processor. You can read more about it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/microsoft-word/), then you can always build a table manually using HTML.

It will take longer, but it allows you full control over the look and feel of the table. You can read about how to do so right here:

    http://www.temple.edu/cs/web/tables.html

And there are table code generators, such as the one here:

    http://www.quackit.com/html/html_table_generator.cfm

You will just need to enter the code which you create in the Text Editor rather than the Visual Editor of your post. You can toggle between them on your editing page by clicking the tabs in the upper right hand corner of the editing window.
