Cyber attack on WordPress?

  A friend sent me a link to a warning that WordPress is vulnerable to a cyber attack. True? The article stated that WordPress has worked on
  security but that users need to upgrade their site. If so, how do I do that?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The staff does the updates for you on WordPress.COM – we are always running a slightly more advanced version than the latest stable release from WordPress.ORG.
