  I wrote an article that has been getting disparaging comments. https://fightingforsurvivalblog.wordpress.com/2016/06/09/the-nightmare-continues/comment-page-1/#comment-3569. I have asked the individual to please stop barraging me with comments But she refuses to. She goes by the name of ‘Mrs. Carpet’ and has continued to send me upsetting remarks.   Hi there,

  You can block anyone from commenting on your site by adding their name, email, or website address to the comments blacklist section at My site ->Manage ->Settings ->Discussion. Any comments that match what’s in the blacklist will be automatically deleted so you don’t have to see them.

  Do not add their IP to the blacklist, as that is not effective, and may end up blocking other people instead.

  Please do not share IP addresses of other users in the forums. I have removed that information from your post above.

  Also a bit of advice: don’t feed the trolls.

  By responding to and engaging with someone like this, you’re giving them exactly what they want. If you just ignore them and delete their comments instead, they’ll soon grow bored and stop doing this.
