  People who register a custom domain are really committing themselves to renewing the domain annually until the end of time or until the Martians invade, whichever comes first. Not renewing is inviting someone to take over the address and do good or evil with it. Unfortunately for you, if you no longer own the domain you have no say in what is displayed at that address.
