The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Ryszard,
This can be achieved by changing your blog language to Polish in My Sites > Settings > General:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/language-settings/#blog-language
I hope this helps.
-
hi,
thank you very much, unfortunately it did not go on, everything else is in Polish but “read on” in English
-
@natropierysia I think I see the issue. Did this happen to start when you switched themes?
I can see this theme had a translation issue that’s being resolved.
-
Hello,
Thank you for the answer, yes after changing the theme. And what can I do now? I changed the theme again and nothing …
-
@natropierysia We’re working to now to resolve the issue for Baskerville 2, but if you want to switch back to Argent, that one is correctly translated.
-
Thank you for your answer. :)
I will stay at the Baskerville 2 theme :) I will ask for information if I can solve the problem
Regards, Ryszard -

Hey,
I have a different problem. How to make entries from other blog pages on the first page? you can help ? :)Thanks Ryszard
-
Hi Ryszard,
Your blog posts will be ordered from newest to oldest. However, if you want to stick a blog post from an earlier date to your home page you may use the Sticky post feature:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/#sticky-postsIf you’re wanting to add posts from a given topic to your menu consider using Category Pages:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/ -
1. I understand it clearly, thank you :)
2. unfortunately I’m just starting with a blog and unfortunately I can not :(I want to display entries on the first page but also to appear, for example, on the subpage.
The coop on the page on the main page (and in the travel tab, eg Italy?)
I will be grateful for your help
thanks Ryszard

Hi Ryszard,
Thanks for the additional explanation. It does sound like Category and Category Pages is the feature you are looking for. The good news is that this is already built into WordPress.com.
For each post you want to have a subpage for follow these steps:
1) Assign the post a category (ie “Italy”) by following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/
2) This will create a page automatically of all posts in the “Italy” category at:
https://natropierysia.wordpress.com/category/italy3) Link to the new category page from your menu or anywhere you’d like to direct users to the subpage form. See this guide for details on the linking to the menu:

Hey,
Thank you very much, I added a category :)However, I have another problem:
Post is displayed on the homepage :) and the appropriate category :) with the fact that the category displays not on the entire page and you need to additionally click the link and then it displays the whole? I would like it to be displayed on the whole page after entering the category? Can it be set this way? thank you Ryszard
-
Hi Ryszard,
with the fact that the category displays not on the entire page
Each of your categories has a page of it’s own (for example, PODRÓŻE) where visitors can view all posts in that category. However, they need to click through to the full post because you have chosen to display an excerpt in My Sites > Customise > Content Options > Blog display.
There isn’t a way to display an excerpt on the homepage but full posts on categories pages — as this setting applies to all lists of posts.

Thank you for your answer,
However, I would like to enter the category (Category: Bari – that is a train through Puglię) the entry was displayed on the entire page without the need for additional entry into the “brick” such as displayed on (STRONA GŁÓWNA)? Because in the above category (Category: Bari – that is a train through Puglia) I want to display only one entry
-
Hi, I’m not sure I understand what you are wanting. For the bari category, the category page would be https://natropierysia.wordpress.com/category/bari/, but you do not have that category created, or have any published posts in that category, so it is coming up with the Oops, this page cannot be found error.
-
Thank you for your answer,,
Hi, I have created category (/ category / podroze / wlochy / bari-czyli-pociagiem-przez-puglie /) and I added an entry (CARLO ACUTIS YOUTH HOLSTERY CODE) This entry is displayed as a brick (as for the theme used and as on the page main) but I would like to after the entry (Category: Bari – that is a train through Puglię) the entry was visible on the entire page and not as a brick? -
Hi natropierysia,
I have created category (/ category / podroze / wlochy / bari-czyli-pociagiem-przez-puglie /
I think I’ve found the Bari category you mentioned:
https://natropierysia.wordpress.com/category/podroze/wlochy/bari-czyli-pociagiem-przez-puglie/
This entry is displayed as a brick
What you say “brick”, do you the post displayed on a dark background? If so, the styling is different because they use on of the post formats available in Post Settings (cog icon) > Post Format — the posts on your homepage use
StatusandQuotes. ChoosingStandardwill display these posts in the same style as the others. It is possible to display the whole post (rather than an excerpt) from My Sites > Customise > Content Options > Blog display but this will change every post in all categories.

Hi, Thank you very much – I succeeded :)
However, I have another question: how to add a tab in the main menu: contact? thank you
