daily post: no ping back

  Hello there. I do participate to the Daily Pots challenge and yet none of the post I write is on the daily post page.
  For exemple I did pingback the following link : http://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/powerful-suggestion/

  for the “powerful suggestion” theme on yesterday’s post and yet it doesn’t show on the page.

  Why is that?

  Hi Murielle,

  It looks like you have some tracking scripts within your pingback link on the post seen here:

  http://www.deschosesadire.net/dont-be-afraid/

  Can you try removing those tracking scripts and just leaving the default link HTML code and see if that corrects the error?

  Hi there,

  Thanks for the reply.
  Am not sure I did the right things. I did remove all the options on the google analytics for wordpress plugin. I don’t know what else I should do?

  Hi there,

  It looks like there was an issue with the pingback setting on the post that caused the issue. However, we’re still testing and investigating to see why this didn’t work properly. I’ll keep you posted!

  Unfortunately, we don’t have a solution in place just yet. It seems like something is definitely amiss though. I’ll keep you posted as we figure out a solution!

  This is indeed very frustrating because it seems that it is something at your end. I have disabled all the plugins, send another post to another daily post with the trackback and nothing worked.
  And therefore I cannot participate to the Daily Post and other wordpress thingies fully.
