Subscribers set the frequency with which they receive your posts on this page https://wordpress.com/settings/notifications/

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
Your followers can choose to receive your posts instantly (as you publish them), in a daily digest (once per day), or in a weekly digest (once per week). They can change those options themselves if they’d like to receive your posts more or less frequently: http://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#change-your-email-settings
If some of your followers aren’t receiving email updates when they expect to, please let me know the WordPress.com username or email address of those followers and I can investigate that for you.

I an unaware of fellow WordPress bloggers who have not received the daily blogs. However, I do know that the two listed below have not. The first told me that she did receive the daily post today.

Hi Mary,
I just searched our Email Logs and found that both of the emails you provided received emails for your most recent post.
If they are unable to find it, please have them check their spam/junk folder as well. If it’s not there, have them check their filters so that emails from *.wordpress.com are whitelisted. If they aren’t able to receive further emails from us, please have them check with their email client’s support team.
Cheers!

I’m sorry to add that one of my followers ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) received the posts for a few days and now is not receiving them again. I don’t know what to do now.

Hi Mary,
Just to make sure, are the posts which this viewer hasn’t received brand new, or are they reposts of some nature? Did you post them previously and update them since then?
-
Some of them have been updated re-posts for which I have up-dated the content and the publishing date. I think this is the case for half to two-thirds of them. Thank you for your help. I’m anxious to hear what uou have to say.

Our system only sends out notifications the very first time that a post is published. Even if you are adding additional content or if you update the date or time of a post, the notification email does not go back out to your subscribers.
In this case, the email address which you provided was last sent a notification for a post which you published on 2014-09-11. Have you published any brand new posts since then?
-
Yes. The Sunday posts are always new. These have been received by all as far as I can tell. Is there a way I can circumvent “the system” and get these published? I’m thinking aloud here… Can I cut the older post and paste it into a “new post”?
Thanks much for your help!

Hi Mary,
Yes, that would indeed be a way in which you could, proverbially, “game the system.” The best way in my opinion would be for you to edit the post in question, click the “text” tab at the top of the edit window (so that you’re viewing the code of your post), copy all of your post, and then create a new post. Once you have a blank post, again click the “text” tab and paste in the code from your old post. This will have everything transfer over exactly how you had it before.
