  How do I disable the daily prompt? It’s annoying and intrusive. Today I was asked if I’d ever been in a car accident. I have actually, but don’t need to be reminded of being hurt in a traumatic car smash when I log on to write a blog post.

  Hello there,

  To disable it, go to https://wordpress.com/settings/writing and toggle off “show writing prompts”.
  You are all set.

  Thank you for the feedback there and I can see why that would be traumatising. I’ve flagged this internally.

  Writing Prompts can be disabled here: https://whyfemalematters.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-writing.php > untick “Show a writing prompt when starting a new post.”
