Dailymotion video not embedding

  I am trying to embed some dailymotion videos but they are not embedding properly. When I click on the image nothing happens. My settings when I upload the videos, I choose these options:

  – everyone can view this video
  – no one can comment
  – Allow other user to add this video to groups and contests. NO.

  Is the last option I chose (NO to allow other users to add video to groups and contests) the cause of it not embedding properly?

  By the way I am embedding by using the visual editor by putting in:

  [dailymotion id=xxxxxx]

  in the blog post.

  Does it have anything to do with COPYING vs TYPING the code? I have done both but neither method seems to work.

  It seems the only Dailymotion videos that embed are the ones that are made by MotionMakers or ones that are labeled Official Content.

  You can link to the videos that you code with [dailymotion i d = xxxxx] but they won’t open in the blog, they open in a new window.

  And you have to click on ‘dailymotion’ at the bottom right hand corner of the screen to open the video up in a new window.

  Clicking on the play button won’t open these non-official non-MotionMaker videos which are the majority of videos.

  So the code doesn’t EMBED the Dailymotion videos – the ordinary ones I mean – the code just LINKS to the videos by opening a new window with the Dailymotion site on it.

  The information in the help/support is misleading because it leads one to think that ALL DM videos can be embedded when this is not so, only certain ones can be embedded. The vast majority won’t be embedded.
