Dailypaintworks problem

I’ve done a search of the forums to see if this problem was addressed, but I didn’t see anything. I’m having a bit of trouble with hooking up my dailypaintworks.com page to my wordpress blog. I just moved over from blogger.com and this wasn’t a problem there, so I’d like to get this taken care of so I can stay here at wordpress.

    The Problem:

Every night DPW pulls my latest post from my blog and posts the images and some of the information to my DPW gallery. This can be done automatically or manually. Something has gone wrong since my move to wordpress, because the posts won’t pull now.

I sent an email to Dave, at DPW, asking for his assistance on this and here is the email I got back from him –

DPW is looking for the image of your painting in a certain feed standard format in your feed. Namely in an HTML image tag. Instead, your feed provides the painting image files in a “media files” section, which is something I am not familiar with. This is why your post is not being pulled.

Here is what your feed looks like in FireFox:

Perhaps this is something you can configure in WordPress.

Is there some setting I can set that would make the images in my posts accessible to DPW? Like I said, I’d like to get this taken care of so I can stay at wordpress.

    Thanks for your help.

    One other thing:

You can see the DPW page (my gallery) that I’m talking about here:

    DailyPaintworks.com

I wonder if that’s an error you get if you use Galleries. Just embedding a normal image should not create a weird link.

I’m not sure which way it’s being done. All I do is begin writing my new post and add the image by clicking on the Add Media button just above the toolbars. I don’t see any other way to add images to a post.

Okay, I just went and did a test post and I see what you’re talking about, with the image page. It has a couple of choices, Insert Media and Create Gallery. I always choose the Insert Media option. I don’t create galleries.

So, I don’t know. Something is being done in the coding differently here at WP than at Blogger. I just hope it can be fixed.

So, no one else has any ideas about this problem? I’d really like to get it taken care of.
