Dara Front Page – Blog as featured page

  I want to use my blog as one of the featured pages on the front page of my website. What I would like to appear there is the featured image and the excerpt, just like my other 2 pages. However, what appears instead is a tiny blog with like 6 post excerpts where that featured image should be. Help! :)

  Hi,

  A featured image assigned to the blog page won’t be displayed there. If you select the blog page as one of you front page featured pages, then what will be displayed is sort of a miniaturized version of your blog page, https://cypresstextiles.net/blog/, with the featured images and excerpts for each of the latest seven posts — your posts per page setting is evidently “7” — displayed in a column. That’s the way it is designed to display. The Dara theme was not designed so that selecting the blog page as one of the front page featured pages will be a practical option in most cases.
