dara theme and drop down menu

I started setting up a blog with the dara theme. Yesterday the child pages appeared as drop down menu items on desktop view when you hovered over the parent menu item. Today it doesn’t seem to be working. I don’t think I’ve changed any of the settings. Is there a known issue? Or have a accidentally changed a setting without realising? thanks

You might have inadvertently changed a setting.
Questions:
1. Are you displaying the default pages menu, or a custom menu as the header menu?
2. If the header menu is a custom menu, did you arrange sub-menu items manually as described in the Add menu items and Organize your menu sections of the Custom Menus support page?
3. Can you provide the address (URL) of one of the child pages on the site https://resilienthealth.wordpress.com/ here? -

Wonderful! You’re right I had not followed the instructions on how to arrange a sub-menu item. Somehow, child pages that I added under a parent were automatically appearing as submenu options a few days ago when I first started setting this. Thanks again!

Somehow, child pages that I added under a parent were automatically appearing as submenu options a few days ago when I first started setting this.
That would have been the default pages menu, the menu that displays when no custom menu is set to display instead. The default menu will show child pages automatically. A custom menu won’t.
