Dara Theme: can I edit the number of text lines shown beneath the 3 featured content areas?

Hola! Using the Dara theme, on the home page there is a section for 3 featured contents. I’d like to lessen the number of text lines shown beneath the images to only 2 or 3 lines of text, not 7 lines. Is this possible with this template?

Yes, this is possible. You can add a custom excerpt for those pages in the page editor, under More Options. This guide explains the process in more detail:
Without a custom excerpt, the theme will default to using the first few lines of content instead.
