Dara theme – featured image won't appear on Posts page

  Been trying to set a featured image for my blog posts page. I go through all the steps, select the image I want in the page settings under Featured Image, update/save, and it still doesn’t show up. In the customizer settings under Featured Images I have checked the boxes for showing featured images on blog/archives, single posts, and pages. What am I missing?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I can see 2 posts on your posts page https://dragonfly-fitness.com/posts/
  It appears none of these posts have the featured image attached. When I open the post, I cannot find any image on the single post page.

  Please add the featured images to these posts.

  Featured Images

  Dara theme shows the featured image attached to each post above it. Once you complete the above step, the featured image should show on your post page.

  Please check if the featured images are enabled on your posts page:
  1. Go to My Sites-> Customize->Content Options
  2. Ensure that display on blogs and archives is enabled under the Featured Images heading
  This will make sure that the featured image attached to the post shows on the posts page.

  Thank you! That’s what I was afraid of…I just want one image to show at the top of the blog posts page (with the word “blog” in it, kind of like a title page). I don’t want the image that displays to be the featured image of the most recent post. That’s why there are no featured images on my posts. I’d like the blog page to look just like my other pages, where the logo is on top, then a featured image, then the listing of posts below.
  Is that something do-able with CSS?

  I think that is not possible because Dara is not designed that way. The HTML structure of the theme doesn’t support it. You can look for that design in other themes if that is a necessity.

  I don’t want the image that displays to be the featured image of the most recent post. That’s why there are no featured images on my posts.

  You can add featured images to your posts so that they will show on the single posts page i.e when you will open the post. If you don’t want to show the post featured image on the blog page, follow the steps:
  1. Go to My Sites-> Customize->Content Options
  2. Ensure that display on blogs and archives is disabled under the Featured Images heading
  This will make sure that the featured image attached to the post will not show on the posts page but will show on single posts.
