Dara Theme featured palette color codes
-
Hi! Just trying to figure out what the color codes are for the featured palette I chose. I can seem to figure out how to reveal them. I’d like to continue using these colors for images I create to post on this site, etc. Guidance appreciated!

Previous to the new design of the theme showcase and the removal of the theme name from the footers we Volunteers were able to answer most theme questions. Since then unless one has the tenacity and patience that musicdoc1 has and set up the theme veing asked about in test blog every time a themes thread is posted almost all themes questions have to be answered by Staff. That irks me. -
@happyathometoday, @timethief:
I used the browser’s inspector to see what the colors were.
Though, it’s also possible to use a browser add-on/extension like Colorzilla to find colors, as long as you zoom in on the page for smaller items.

@dcoleonline Good to know… that is actually what I was about to do, so I guess you don’t have a secret sauce recipe behind the scenes? :) Thanks for sharing.

You’re both very welcome!

Haha, no secret here. :)
With Colorzilla, you have to be careful that you find a nice solid area of color. If you select slightly to the side of the exact color, it might be mixed with a different color and you won’t get the correct value.
Using the browser inspector is the best way to be sure you have the exact color, but that takes a bit more time to get comfortable with. Each browser provider has resources to help learn how to use their own version of the inspector, and any of them will work to find the colors.
Here are links to a few that I found with detailed information on working with CSS colors in the inspector:
