  Hi,

  Is there a way to limit the amount of text extracted in the featured content?
  I’d like these 3 pages highlighted on the home page but I feel it’s too text heavy underneath – https://nationalruralpressclub.org/

  Is there a way to only get a single sentence taken out of that?

  Hi there,

  Edit the page at My Site ->Pages. In the page editor settings on the right, click More Options. Set a custom excerpt. If you have a custom excerpt set, that will display with the front page thumbnail instead.

  Also note your Business Plan gives you access to live chat support for help with questions like this. You don’t need to post in the support forums for free sites.
