Dara theme: neither featured content or featured image showing on home

  Hi there,
  I’m thinking this is probably something stupid I’ve done, but I can’t work out what for the life of me!

  I have followed all of the instructions to get featured content working on my static homepage, and for a while it did! I’ve since added a new blog post with the ‘featured’ tag, and the featured content section has disappeared from my homepage.

  Weirdly, I added an image as the home featured image to display whilst I sort the featured content out, and that isn’t showing either (it is the right size to be showing, I’ve checked.)

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  stourpainecommunityallotment – if you’d like to display a featured-content slider on the homepage, you first need to add your featured tag (you’ve set that to “homepage” in the Customizer) to two or more pages or posts.

  Right now, your pages and posts have no tags added to them.

  Let me know how it goes.

  jimcroisdale – please provide a link to your site running Dara and I’ll have a look. hack2018.com is running Sela, which does not include a slider.

  cbranstetter – I see the slider fine on your site. Can you explain your problem in more detail?

  Hi, I can see the slider but the pages I’ve selected for my three featured sections aren’t showing. Also can you explain how you got the circle features underneath posted? My site is bewellhealthandwellness.wordpress.com

  bewellbu – I see two posts tagged with “featured” and those same two posts in your slider, as expected.

  For the circles, are you referring to the image on each testimonial? Looks like you got that figured out – it’s the featured image on the testimonial post.
