Dara Theme: Static front page + default blog view?

Hello!
I absolutely love the Dara theme, and I’ve been trying to tweak it a bit. Recently, I have opened a storefront thru Woocommerce, and I need my blog to be a bit more than just a blog.
My question is – I really love how Dara displays posts, but I need to create a new static front page for people hitting my site ( https://www.saminjapan.com/welcome/ )
So I would like to have the main page display the “welcome” static page, but when clicking on blog, display the blog roll as is built into the template.
I can do some PHP/CSS tweaking if there is a way to utilize that to create a “copy” if needed, but I honestly am bashing my head against the wall trying to figure it out (or find a plugin for recent posts that displays them even half as nice as Dara)
