Dara theme: want sidebar on homepage

    Does the Dara theme not support a sidebar on the homepage?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Log into your admin panel and go to “Appearance” and then click on “widgets”. Then just drag any widget you want to the sidebar area. So if you want “Search” look for the Search widget on the left and drag it into the “Sidebar” area on the right.

    It looks like you are hosted on a different service then WordPress.com. These forums are only for WordPress.com customers. I think you are looking for WordPress.org Here is a link to their support

    Dara does not support a sidebar if you opt for a static homepage, only if you choose to display posts on the front page.

    These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but as dtlevin observed, you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. If you need further help with the self-hosted version of Dara, feel free to post in its forum at WordPress.org:
