Dark Overlay in Canard Theme
-
Hello. I have my site set up in Canard and I like it very much. I just have 2 problems.
1. I do not want the cover image at the top to darken when the mouse hovers over it.
2. I do not want the dark overlay on the photos of the “featured” stories at the top of the page. I want the photos to display just as brightly as they do everywhere else on the site.Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@lookatmymanhood it looks like you’ve already sorted this out with some custom CSS. For anyone else wondering, basically you want to look for cases where opacity is 0.7 or 0.3, and change it to 1 before adding it to your custom CSS:
.featured-content .post-thumbnail { opacity: 1 } .featured-content .hentry:hover .post-thumbnail, .featured-content .hentry .post-thumbnail:focus { opacity: 1; } .header-image a:active, .header-image a:focus, .header-image a:hover { opacity: 1; } a.post-thumbnail:active img, a.post-thumbnail:focus img, a.post-thumbnail:hover img { opacity: 1; }
