Dark page, dark text, too dark to read

Hi, I use WordPress blog and elegant themes for my background. If I click on any category in the right hand bar, like, say November archives, then it takes me to a darkened page where I cannot read the text because everything is so dark. You can tell it is there, but too dark to read. Has anyone experienced this?
