You now see something different to rootjosh?My screen is okay with my many sites on the net and in fact with wordpress (see one of my other wordpress blogs http://mauricetudornetwork.wordpress.com/)
Nothing wrong with dashboard there or the others, just bookshelf? Which I have said from the start. Plus The one that is dodgy now has also been perfect since June last Year up until abouit 2 weeks ago.
So again if all the other wordpress sites I use are ok, then it cannot be due to screen size/
It has to be a glitch with WordPress, because all my other blogs show across the grey area Iconw woed with dropdown menu Title of blog the word follow the word LIKE the icon of wavy lines words NEW POSt then my image. This is what you see, but I don’t?
I am missing (the word LIKE the icon of wavy lines words NEW POSt)
Why? Will anyone your side be able to fix it or make a suggestion how I can transfer all my data to a new wordpress blog?

Not entirely. I just see something very slightly different when I set my browser window to be a narrow width like yours.
Why? Will anyone your side be able to fix it
At this point I’m honestly not sure. I’m going to ask the team, though, and see if someone has seen this before or has ideas as to what could be causing it. I’ll keep you posted.

seems from a lot of comments coming my way today that WP is having a few problems and a Thursday meeting 13th? hope it is not an unlucky 13th for me!!

One other idea the team had was that your browser may have the zoom setting turned on for one of your sites but not the other. Can you try resetting Firefox’s zoom setting? There are details about this over here.
Short of that, I’m not sure what would be causing the issues. Seeing a screenshot of what you see would likely help sort this out. If you’re not able to upload it directly to your site could you email it to help@wordpress.com?

It is now sorted. My friend came to visit tonight and after telling him my problem , he tweeked my Pc and now dashboard is back…
It seems that somehow I must have pressed a key board ctrl plus the enlarge key and that was the problem, not resolution or anything else. just my stupidity! I do thank you guys for your patience and support.
Case closed.
