I just got an email from Siteground saying that they have successfully installed the WordPress software on my hosting account, but I don’t see the Plugins option in my dashboard. Am I still on wordpress.com? Was the install done correctly?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You site is mapped to WordPress.com.
You can access your dashboard from this link below..
https://celebratingsunshine.wordpress.com/wp-admin/Re- Plugins
Here is some information about plugins ..
Plugins are tools used to extend the functionality of the WordPress platform. However, they are only applicable to self-hosted blogs and web sites using the WordPress.org software. Plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your answer. What should I do next if I want to be on wordpress.org and eventually to install a genesis theme?

Hi ,
WordPress.com and WordPress.com are two totally different. They have their own usernames , passwords , themes (some themes have same name with different versions) etc.
WordPress.com is a hosting platform that makes it easy for anyone to publish online and is different from WordPress.org.
With WordPress.org, YOU host your own blog or website. WordPress.org is where you’ll find the free WordPress software that you can download and install on your own web server. This support doc explains the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org to help you decide which one is best for you.
