Dashboard Access
-
I can not access my dashboard. I can log into my wordpress account and access my stats. But, when I click on the dashboard the site asks for my password again. Thank you for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You were able to log in to leave this thread, so something must be working right.
Are you able to access https://crownenterprise.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ directly?
-
Yes I can access it directly when I start with the link you gave me, https://crownenterprise.wordpress.com/wp-admin/.
However, I still can not access the dashboard when I log into the http://wordpress.com/ address. I can log in initially to see my stats but I can not access the dashboard.

Your blogs and Dashboard access are listed at http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/
Do you see them there?
-
Yes, the link takes me to a familiar login page. Still, I can log into this link and access my stats but I am prompted to enter a password again when I try to go to the dashboard. Also, my password is not accepted at thsi prompt.
Could this be an issue with my security settings? I wouldn’t think so sicne it seems the WordPress site is the origin for the password prompt.

I go to http://wordpress.com/ and login. That brings me to the page http://wordpress.com/#!/read/following/. I click on the “Stats” word on the top menu because I do not know another way to get to the Dashboard from this page. After clciking on “Stats” I am on this page, http://wordpress.com/#!/read/following/. I go to the little WordPress “W” in the top right hand corner and click on it to access the Dashboard. I am prompted for a password. The window prompt will not accept my password.

Ok, that sounds like a wide variety of problems. For example, stats should be at http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/ not http://wordpress.com/#!/read/following/
Now, there are plenty of other ways to get the Dashboard, like http://wordpress.com/#!/my-blogs/ or hovering over your Gravatar in the admin bar at any page on WordPress.com.
As for your password issue, first please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

I am using Internet Explorer 9. I bet it is my browser. This is going to take me a few days to load a new browser since I need to copy over info I do not want to lose. Thank you for your help.
