dashboard and editor scrambled in firefox (theme: twenty-ten)

  They look normal in chrome, and in epiphany-browser (I’m using Ubuntu Linux). But in firefox, the left margin says stuff like:
  dashboard
  dashboard
  dashboard
  posts
  posts
  posts
  …and the stuff that used to be on the right is moved to the bottom of the middle column. Odd icons appear at the top of the page. Is this a WordPress problem, a firefox problem, or a linux problem?

  Answering myself: I found a two-year-old note that womeone had wordpress displaying funny in firefox, so he cleared his private data and all was well. I cleared the data from the last day (cookies, etc.) and it seems to have worked. I hope it stays fixed. Apparently the problem is with firefox.

  Sometimes cookies or cache files can get corrupted. Anytime the dashboard goes wonky, the first thing to try is clearing the cookies and cache and then restart the browser. That typically fixes wonky dashboards.
