Dashboard and posting glitches
-
I am having ongoing issues with hyperlinking to my dashboard, and with posting. After I log in, sometimes it works and sometimes I just get a blank page and need to refresh the page. This just takes me back to my blog, not to the dashboard. Also, sometimes the publish button doesn’t work when I try to publish a new post.
I have two other WordPress blogs and have been using the platform for about 4 years, so I know how it works. I have tried this on both Firefox and Chrome. It seems to be an issue with just this one blog of mine. It appears to be glitchy.
Can you please look into this?
I am also wanting to create a < /br> space rather than <p>, but I can’t seem to be able to do this on your WYSYWYG editor, and I can’t get to the HTML to insert the code. How is this done?

I should say too that I’ve tried this from two different computers now, to no avail. I just can’t get to my dashboard most of the time. Sometimes it works; most often it doesn’t.

Hi there,
Please undertake some troubleshooting so we can get the information required to determine the cause of your issue and find a solution for you.(1) How you are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com?
The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Also note that the main dashboard isn’t designed to work with touch devices through the tablet and smartphone browsers.(2) Are you using the secure https:// login?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/(3) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you aren’t sure click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html

Yes, I have troubleshooted all these things. I have tried in multiple up-to-date browsers on multiple computers. Cable and DSL connections. Different ISPs. Unless you actually read the problem I am having rather than send me this standard reply, how are you going to help?

Hi,
After you log into your account at the top of WordPress.com, can you take a full screenshot when visiting your blog dashboard URL, then upload it to a image sharing service like Skitch?
https://tothelastsyllable.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
Also, whereabouts are you trying to access WordPress.com from, and which ISPs have you tried?
