Dashboard and posts are extremely slow to load

    Accessing posts, comments, dashboard etc. and brining up the post editor is excruciatingly slow – taking up to five minutes to load. My site is hosted on WordPress. Is there some back end maintenance going on, or is something broken? I am located in Malaysia. Other websites load fine for me, and speediest.net shows 80mb/s up and down. Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

    I’m so sorry to hear that. Network issues can be a bit difficult to troubleshoot, so I’ll need a little more info:

    1) Are you having trouble loading any other sites on WordPress.com? or is it just your blog?
    2) Can you try loading:

    wordpress.com
    s1.wp.com
    sat.wordpress.com

    How long does it take to load those three sites?

    3) Additionally, can you tell me if there are other blogs that are slow for you on WordPress.com?
