Dashboard confusion

  Hi, just set up a blog and my dashboard doesn’t look anything like it’s supposed to (or I’m not looking at the ‘dashboard’ somehow). The buttons it’s got are Stats, Plan (which it won’t let me click on), Publish (with ‘Blog posts’ and ‘Pages’ underneath), Personalise (with Themes and Menus underneath) and Configure (with a bunch of options). I can’t find my Media Library or even a Media tab at all, and it just looks completely different to the dash on my previous blog. Most pressing question is how to find my Media Library, but what can I do to make it look the way it’s supposed to??

  OK, I’ve found the dashboard now (through the “wp-admin/index.php” address), but it’s still not coming up automatically when I click on the ‘My Site’ button…… should it be?
