Dashboard does not expand to show stats
-
Just purchased hosting from GoDaddy.com. Moved my blog to a new wordpress blog. Re-did everything and am still working out the kinks.
1st of all, my dashboard “button” no longer expands to show stats and other features. Nowhere do I see where I can view my stats.
Also, Meta widget is showing up on my blog, but is not there in the admin section. I don’t want it there, but cannot remove it because, well…it’s not there (but it is!)
There are a few other things going on, but I’ll leave it at that, as those are the most important.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You haven’t added a stats plugin. And you have to hack the widgets in the theme files. You’ll need to be over at WordPress.ORG for specific help, as our blogs here don’t work the same as externally-hosted blogs.

is it not showing up anymore because I am now hosted? (used to be there)
Which stats plug-in would you suggest…I browsed through them, but not sure. Heard adding plug-ins could crash my site.
Thanks!!!

If your blog is *not* hosted at WordPress.COM, please ask your question on the WordPress.ORG forums. Thank you.

@couponkatarina There are a lot of stats plugins, but this is the one that’s written by Automattic and that connects to the WordPress.com system:
