Dashboard does not have "Appearance" tab

  I want to add a widget, but my dashboard does not contain an “Appearance” tab. (My other WordPress blog does.) This one has only “posts,” “media,” “links,” “pages,” “comments,” “feedbacks,” “polls,” “ratings reports,” “profile,” “tools,” and “settings.”

  Please help.

  Ah, problem solved. I was signed in as my son. It’s his blog, I’m admin. (Stupid!)
