Dashboard Functions not working

    I cannot access Manage Pages from my dashboard. Am I the only one with site problems?

    What exactly happens when you try? and what browser and version are you using?

    I am using Firefox 2, latest version. The tab at the top says Loading and the area at the bottom of the screen says : Waiting for dishandwashclothmania.wordpress.com
    This just appeared on the page that was trying to upload:

    The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server.

    Have you previously been able to access things from the same computer you’re using now? You could be at work or something and your proxy could be blocking you.

    If you used to access things just fine, you need to send that to Staff. Sounds like something’s not working on the back end. Use your Support button on the dahsboard or email support at wordpress dot com.

    Wasn’t that the error message Barry (?) was asking for a few weeks ago in a sticky at the top (which is now gone)?

    scrunchyy, are you trying to import posts? If so, you might need to wait until early morning when the server isn’t as busy, or contact support and ask them to import posts for you.

    I just imported posts, if it’d help you here’s a guide based on my experiences:

    If not, then perhaps your upload is too large, what are you trying to upload?

    raincoaster: I am using the same computer I always do. I tried using my husband’s computer and had the same results. Thanks, I will send a note to support.

    timwheatly: I am not trying to upload anything. I am trying to make changes to some pages that need updating. I do appreciate your willingness to help.

    It is an internal error for sure. Send in as much detail as possible to support @ wordpress.com including that reference number and Staff can sort through it.

    Having the same problem – also blip.tv is down (used to host my blog videos) – wonder if it is related?

    I’m not doing anything different either, so think it is a problem with WordPress, not my connection/computer.

    Not trying to do anything other than look at my dashboard, and look at my blog.
