    The layout of wordpress keeps changing and im really finding it difficult. I dont want to go to new post every time i log in, i want to go straight to dashboard, often i have posts that i have only half finished. but it seems the button for it has been put in the most hardest places to find. Maybe im missing it or something, but is there an easy way to log in and go straight to DASHBOARD, or straight to your last draft post, rather than click on three things and, then on the link i want?
    I do love wordpress heaps, thanks for your work, just hoping you can make it a little easier in this area in the future maybe?

    To log-in to your own blog and arrive in your own blog’s dashboard do not log in on the WordPress.com home page. Use this link to log-in directly to your blog

    You can bookmark the page timethief suggested and add it to the bookmarks bar of your browser. This way you’ll never have to worry where WP put things this month.

    I sympathise with your confusion; I can remember being flummoxed by exactly the same thing.

    There’s a video walkthrough that makes the login process super clear at:

    http://wordpressquests.com/?page_id=6823

    Watch that, follow the instructions, then bookmark the URL you come up with. From then on, you’ll be able to login just by clicking.

    Even if WP has a complete interface makeover, you’ll still be able to login that way – there would pitchforks and flaming torches outside Matt. W’s house if it were ever changed.

    @poatina
    There’s no need for video. LOL :D

    1. The log-in suffix “wp-admin” is for all WordPress blogs log-ins.
    2. You use this link format, replacing “myblog” with your blog’s name
    http://myblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
    In your case it’s http://poatinavillage.com/wp-admin/
    3. You type in your username or the associated email address.
    4. You type your password into the next field and click “log-in”.
    5. As justpi suggested above you can add your log-in link to your own blog to the bookmarks bar of your browser.
