dashboard has some problems
-
My dashboard does not work. When I try to post something, to previzualize it or to paste a link, I received an empty space, o Page not found etc. Why ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
If that does not work, try a different browser to see if it is browser related.
What browser and browser version are you having difficulties with?

I have similar problems. Please help, or I will have to change to some other blog service. I have made a structure and started to upload things I have written. It sometimtes works, so I don´t think the error is mine. But after one or two uploads, the whole thing just stops working. I press buttons, nothing happens. I leave the page and go to anohter one, nothing happens. I log out and log in again, nothing happens. WHY??? I use Mac OS X and Firefox. On the average it takes me about half on hour for each upload to finally be in place in the library, and then even more time to get it into the page where I want it to be.

Dashboard on my iPad app pretty much refuses to work. I hit “reply” to a comment, type away, hit the “go” button…and nothing. No update, no comment, no blue line of patience, even. Same with trying to make a new post. Or change a setting. Everything seems to work, until I hit the “do it” button on that screen. Sigh. Why have this app?

@thesacredpath,
Thanks,
I was on Google Chrome, I tried Internet Explorer, I have the same problem. -
Exactly which versions of Chrome and IE have you tried please?
Would you like to try Firefox 8 so we can eliminate browser issues as the cause?
How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.
Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Sometimes using the opposite will work. -
@megarber
Have you tried posting to this forum? ipad > http://ios.forums.wordpress.org/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting -
@timethief.
thanks for so many questions :))) I already have mine. I do not want to use Firefox or others. I heard that wordpress.com is really friendly but now with all of this… -
What are your answers to the other questions please?

@semanticu, these browser issues with posting some are seeing are random and not widespread. Those are very difficult to track down. I have 4 different browsers loaded on my computer because I do web design and need to check things, and I cannot reproduce this problem.
If you have any plugins or add-ons installed in your browser, turn them all off, clear browser cache and cookies, restart browser and try again. It could be a plugin or add-on that is causing a conflict.
This could even be something that is not a problem on your computer or a problem at wordpress (contrary to popular belief, it isn’t always wordpress’s fault). It could be a corrupted file on an invisible proxy server used by your ISP. It could be an update to that same proxy server that is causing the issue. It could quite literally by dozens of things and none of them your computer and none of them wordpress.
