Dashboard is blank after downloading Social Media Feather

  Good day,

  I couldn’t seem to find a topic regarding my particular issue in the forums, so I’m posting a new one, apologies if someone else has already asked / found the answer.

  I downloaded the plug-in Social Media Feather to my website. I use the Omega theme, and I use Chrome browser. As I was downloading, the screen went white, and stayed white. I closed the window, and attempted to re-log-into my dashboard. I am able to input my username and password, and the screen changes, but only to blank / white.

  I am still able to view my website, but when I attempt to go to my dashboard, it only shows blank/white. I feel like the plug-in might not be compatible with my theme, but I do not know how to get in to take that plug-in out.

  Any advice would be must appreciated.

  You can add plugins to a WordPress.com website. Social Media Feather is a plugin that may be used on self-hosted WordPress.org sites, but not on WordPress.com sites.

  This forum is solely for issues regarding WordPress.com websites and accounts. For issues dealing with WordPress.org sites visit the WordPress.org support forums.

  Sorry. That was a typo. It should have said “You can’t add plugins to a WordPress.com website.”

  Hello,

  Thank you for responding, I was not aware that I was on the wrong forum. I will go check out wordpress.org instead.
