Dashboard is gone

    Hi all,

suddenly my dashboard is gone from my page even when I’m logged in. To access it, I have to go to -/wp-admin/. And suddenly a lot of referrers are “WordPress Dashboard”, so obviously it doesn’t recognize me as the owner of the page.

I’m using Camino and Safari (and I’ve restarted, emptied cache etc). My page is http://bonaire.wordpress.com/.

    Any suggestions highly appreciated
    Anders

    Hi Anders

(Is “quine” = “kvinde”, Anders = Danish?)

I have exactly the same problem – no dashboard. Makes it difficult to use the site, even to log out. I have no solution, I’m afraid. I too have emptied cache, etc. But didn’t help.

do you mean that the blue admin bar at the top of your blog when logged in is missing?
this past thread discussed a similar problem (no concrete solution given though):

And suddenly a lot of referrers are "Wordpress Dashboard", so obviously it doesn't recognize me as the owner of the page.

i don’t think this has anything to do with your missing admin bar problem. anybody who’s logged in to wp.com and clicked on the url of your blog from somewhere in their dashboard would show up as ‘wp dashboard’ under referrers, whether via blog surfer, my comments, or tag surfer.

you may want contact the wordpress staff through that link. take note that support is only open on weekdays on certain hours. this seems like a problem only staff with backend access can fix.

This happened to me briefly last night. I logged out, cleared cookies and browser cache, logged in and it was working again.
