Dashboard Issues

Hi, logged into our dashboard today and everything in gone. Has the all service been update to a fee based system to view your dashboard? Cannot access pages, comments, or anything on the site. The site is still viewable on the internet, however nothing is visible from the dashboard. and WP is famously…unavailable…when contacting them directly. Help?

What’s the address of the site that you are referring to? The site https://langcassidee.wordpress.com has a single published page linked to on the front page, no published posts, and no other content visible on or linked to from the front page.

The issue @pinctv may have been resolved, though we haven’t even identified whether the site referred to is a WordPress.com site.
Please start a new topic, here, https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1, and identify the WordPress.com site you are referring to. 404 errors are typically produced when a post, page, or media file has been deleted or had its URL changed.

Will need to backtrack here. We applied for a password reset at least 3x and never received one to email on file. How do we get the tech attention to send us a reset prompt??

Hi there @pinctv, you’re already logged into this account. Are you trying to access pinctv.com, which is hosted by GoDaddy? Or were you hoping to access a different site that is hosted here with us?
If it helps, by the way, you’ve reached the forums for sites hosted here at WordPress.com. There’s a separate forum over at https://wordpress.org/support for folks using the free software at another host, so you can check there if you needed help with the GoDaddy site. And about you not getting your password reset emails, check in with GoDaddy support for that. They can see whether the mail is stuck on their server.

We logged into this secondary account because we could get a reset for the other account where the website is set up. Apologies for not making that clear. What we did was use the user name for that account to request a pw reset and it several times for several days and it never came. Don’t mean to sound convoluted and we may have this backwards.
I will try the other support site.

Thanks, that site is not using our services. It’s at GoDaddy. If resetting your password here does not help, contact GoDaddy and tell them their server isn’t sending you the reset email.
