Dashboard items are missing now…. Completely
-
Hi,
I’ve changing my blog today (adding a domain, adding another user as an editor) and suddenly menu items in my main dashboard are missing! Like, completely (left bar menu). I published a screeshot at http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/pavelpff/view/318354/
Tested this bug on a few pcs and macs. What can be done? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

May have been because of the redesign of the Dashboard. You can read about it here:

Well, i’m on Mac with safari (latest) and firefox (4.0.1 latest); menu items are just not there :(((

Uh oh. First thing I would suggest to all of you, log out of WordPress.com, delete all your browser cache and cookies, close your browser and then start it up again. Check what happens after logging back in.

what language are you using for blog interface? Official WP support just told me it might only be a problem for blog’s set to some languages?…

-
Go to /wp-admin/options-general.php for language setting and switch back to eng for a while, until they fix it!
-
I am also on mac (although an oler version of safari) and have dashboard but can’t get the media uploader? I have english language setting.

Is there any chance that you can upgrade to the latest version of Safari, or perhaps try Firefox or Chrome?
-

I have tried in the past to update to both a newer safari and to firefox and it seems that my computer can’t take the newer versions :(
-
I have tried in IE8, Opera 11.11, Firefox and Chrome. There are parts of my original page missing and I cannot get the new dashboard

I’ve just upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1 on Win7 64-bit machine and have unresponsive admin dashboard, no drop down options on the “My Account” and “My Blogs” menu, tabs are also unresponsive – it stays on the main Dashboard screen (after login) with Latest WP News. Is this a deliberate change?
Functionality of the drop down menus are available when I am on another page, like this forum page or a blog.

Just as a test, try accessing these three files. What you should see is a bunch of text (CSS actually). If you get any errors, let us know on which link you get the error.
