Dashboard Layout

    Help!

I just made my blog today, and my dashboard and add new post page looks totally wonky. It functions, but it’s so ugly I can’t even figure out how to use it… I tried logging into my friend’s blog, too, and his dashboard looks the same on my computer.

I tried opening it in Firefox 3.0, IE7, and Chrome, all with the same results. My friend helped me post a screenshow to my blog to illustrate the problem. Anyone know what’s causing this?

    Thanks!

The link you wrote is not ok. Note that if you simply write the URL of your blog here (from “http” to “com/”, it will automatically become a live link.

As for your dashboard: first try logging out, clearing your browser’s cashe and cookies, and restarting.

Sorry – I it says that “a” is in the allowed markup, so I thought that links had to be html.

I tried clearing the cache, and it didn’t work – I’m out of ideas, going to try emailing support.

    Thanks anyway!

Did you also clear your cookies when you cleared the cache? If not, log out, clear the browser cache and cookies, restart the browser and then try again. What is happening is that the CSS for the dashboard is not loading.

Since we are volunteers here and do not have access to the back end on your blog, if the clearing of cache and cookies does not work, the my suggesting is to contact support at http://support.wordpress.com/contact/ and explain what is happening and give them the link to the screenshot as well.
