Dashboard Login problems

  I am trying to login to the dashboard for my site but to no avail; the password details are correct and when I login it takes me straight to my web-site home page. The address I am using to bring up the login page end in php. I am a novice with this and any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end with it !

  I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble. However, your site is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which WordPress.com staff really can’t help with.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  WordPress.org has complete documentation and support sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at http://codex.wordpress.org/ and http://wordpress.org/support/

  Many thanks for your reply. I will see if I have any luck solving the problem via those avenues.
